Calista Mobile Mail, the push email service for everyone, will be available for Android smartphones very soon. This means, Calista's first Android application, the Red Bull MOBILE Community Uploader, will get company.
We made sure that using Calista Mobile Mail felt like using a real Android application. Important features are directly accessible on the screen. Additional features can be found in the familiar options menu. This way, the user interface does not feel cluttered and the user can focus on the important things: his private email messages.
Users even get a handy widget, which can be placed on the homescreen and informs the user about new email messages
in his accounts.
The application comes fully equipped with all its familiar features. The setup wizard provides assistance for adding a new account. The push mail service lets users receive new e-mails as they arrive and renders manual fetching unecessary. To spice things up a bit, users can add multimedia attachments to their emails. |

Calista's mobile push email service is now available in the mobile portal of Austria's mobile network operator "tele.ring". The design of application has been adapted to mirror the well-established corporate design.

Youjat - New group communicator for your mobile phone |

Ever tried text messaging in a group? One text message is sent to a bunch of people, but only the sender gets to read the answers. In order to keep everybody on the same page, you need the right tool.
Youjat is a simple application which turns (nearly) every mobile phone into an effective group communicator. The phone's contact list acts as a friend list. The user chooses one or more friends from his contact list and invites them via text message to join his so-called "jat". Friends accept by clicking on the link in the text message. Youjat is automatically downloaded and activated. If a friend writes a reply, everybody in the group can see the answer. If there is ever a need for a private conversation, users can create a new "jat" with the respective person.
Party tonight? Yeah! Jup! I'm in!
If Stella wants to invite her friends Mara, Julien and Nicolas to a party, she selects the 3 names from her contact list and sends an invitations via text message saying "Party tonight?". Her friends can reply immediately, and not only does Stella know how much alcohol she has to put on ice but her friends know who will party tonight.
Mobile 2.0 is reality
What started out as web 2.0, has reached the mobile phone. Interactivity, collaboration and always-online are only three keys to success in the mobile world. Youjat is free, and the downloaded data volume is kept to an absolute minimum (50 kilobytes for a half hour of communication). It's no longer surprising that more than 1,000 "jatters" use youjat every day.

- Youjat works on nearly every mobile phone regardless of screen size, keypad or touchscreen functionality
- You don't need to sign up to use youjat. Your phone's contact list is all that's needed.
- Youjat downloads a minimum amount of data. If you jat non-stop for a whole month you'll only have downloaded 40 MB (= 0,04 GB).
- Youjat can be downloaded for free at get.youjat.com or on various download platforms (e.g. Nokia Ovi Store, Sony Ericsson Fun&Downloads, etc.).

Calista develops Mobile Mail for Hutchison 3G Austria |

The Calista experts developed a mobile mail service, which is as easy to use as text messaging, for Austria’s only sole UMTS provider “Hutchison 3G Austria“. Simply insert your e-mail address and password and start receiving messages on your mobile phone via automatic push mail. Calista’s solution clearly stood out in a head-to-head competition with international vendors. “Ultimately, the combination of innovative features, the easy usage of the app and the adaption to our individual requirements tipped the scale in favor of Calista“, says Hutchison 3G Austria CEO Berthold Thoma. “In Calista, we found a flexible partner for our strategically important endeavor that is Mobile Mail.“

Get 3MobileMail now on Planet3 or from 3Apps
Customers of Hutchison 3G Austria can download the new service from Planet3, the mobile information and entertainment portal, or from the in-house application store 3Apps. After successful installation, users can immediately access their personal customer e-mail account called “3Box“. It doesn’t get any easier than that! Up to nine additional e-mail accounts can be added in merely two simple steps.
